I never experienced hard water until I moved to a very hard water area a little over a year ago. We have 3 toilets in our house and we replaced 2 out of 3. The old toilet had an uncomfortable hard water ring and I ended up using a razor blade to remove it (before I found this product). Our new toilets are only a few months old and they quickly got hard water stains along with the toilet which I spent a lot of time cleaning. Somehow I found this and decided to give it a try. At first I was concerned it would scratch our toilets but was pleasantly surprised that there were no scratches at all. On one of the two I opened the stone seemed a bit loose and when washing the second toilet it actually fell off (reason for 4 stars instead of 5). First I cleaned the toilet the usual way which always leaves hard water stains. When I used a pumice stone it worked very well. It's a bit awkward at first because it's square, but it takes shape fairly easily. It may be hard to see in my picture, but it removes hard water stains. I'll make sure I always have them at home. Not only do these cleansing pumice stones fall off the stick, they are awesome.
