Review on Effortless Opening with Black & 🔲 Decker JW200 Lids Off Jar Opener in White by Alex Taylor

A very big help for those of us with arthritis in our wrists or just a weak grip. The advantages are that it works very well with many glass sizes and is easy to use. The downsides are that my wife lifts the top heavily with one hand to put a glass underneath. The second problem is that the rubber pads detach from the lower tongues (see photo). I plan on gluing them back or replacing them with self-adhesive rubber pads that I can cut to size. I will have to do this because although I bought this unit about 6 months ago and it should have had a 1 year warranty, Black and Decker told me it was made in 2004(!) and no rubber grips were used. more accessible to him.
