The pair I received has a poorly sewn velcro button and I'll need to do some sewing to fix it. Also, magnetic compass users beware, while the mitten part is held back by velcro the pocket for hand warmer packets uses a magnetic clasp. Had I known this I would have not purchased this glove - not good for compass work. Otherwise nice - wore them in subzero windchill conditions the other day and was able to pop the top and work my camera and when done covered up to get warm again. There is a flap for freeing the thumb but I'm not sure I'll use it but handy to have just in case. I use them for hiking and biking and I like the hi-viz orange - especially while bike riding.
