Review on Reusable Stainless Straws Colors Silver Kitchen & Dining by Melissa Hiegel

I was so excited these straws would fit several of my stainless steel mugs. When I received them I was impressed with the colors and their overall appearance (hence the one star rating). However, after use I noticed that they started to change color at the bottom where they are in the cup. The only one I didn't have this problem with was the silver one. Then, when I washed them after use, I noticed a sort of "film" that looked like peeling plastic. The end result is what you see in the photos. I have to wonder how much of that nasty film and color was ingested with my drink. When I received them I shared the straw with my sister and she had the exact same experience. I will definitely not be using these again!
