Greatly improves the usability of the iPad Pro/Air

I bought this device as a gift for my family but I have one of the 2018 models which is almost identical except for the larger camera cutout. This greatly expands the possibilities of using the iPad. I've had iPads for years and used an iPad Pro with a stylus for months before I got the keyboard, and to be honest before I got the keyboard it was useless other than video streaming and FaceTiming. The addition of this keyboard has made using chat, email, notes, reminders and more on the iPad really enjoyable. First, the hardware keyboard is much faster and requires less effort when entering passwords. Chats and search terms, and it also has the advantage of not having to load a software keyboard that takes up half the screen in landscape mode. It also serves as a useful stand when you place it on a table and as a counterweight when you lie down on a sofa or bed. It also doesn't prevent portrait mode from being used, as it folds behind the screen and the buttons don't register pressing when they do. However, it is still very expensive. I bought it on sale so worth it for me. At full price, it's hard to swallow, but it's really that important to the experience. I also considered the Magic Keyboard Folio, but it doesn't fold back and is significantly more expensive (and has fewer sales). This keyboard has a relative disadvantage, namely that it has only two angles, but it is enough for everyday use. I would like to point out that the key action is on the soft side compared to full size keyboards/laptops, but for me this is not a determining factor and still adds a lot to the experience. This is much more convenient than pulling out a separate Bluetooth keyboard. Having this type of keyboard always available and connected to the iPad is an important part of the value proposition compared to other keyboards and it's easy to detach when needed. but for me this is not a crucial factor and still adds a lot to the experience.
