I installed this regulator for my grandparents because it broke 3 OEM regulators. The dealer acknowledged that Buick should have been reminded of the problem because he said he had encountered this problem so many times. Dealer took $300 from grandparents for each regulator and 2 of them still broke! I don't blame the dealer, I blame the parts manufacturers. On the block I took out of the car I noticed that the engine was still running but the steel cable was tangled around the pulley. Definitely worth buying and installing.
