When my Check Engine Light (CEL) came on I was a bit surprised as I know about car maintenance. However, I went to a local shop who checked the CEL code and diagnosed a cracked gas cap. I ordered this from Revain and it arrived the next day (woot woot!). I replaced the gas cap and after a few days the CEL turned itself off. Great for my 2005 Toyota Corolla S. The only thing that would improve this product would be if this gas cap had the same cable as the original one (which came with the car). I'm a bit clumsy and I'm afraid I'll lose it while filling up. Personal preference only. PS If you are in California, Auto Zone cannot verify your CEL. I don't know why, but it's only banned in California. Find a local shop or visit Aamco.
