Best quality in water filtration and softening

I ordered these because I have used this brand in the past and they seem to get the job done. I have a 250 foot well in the mountains of North Carolina and there is a lot of sediment that needs to be filtered out. And I see a lot of that crap when I change them every 3-4 months.
