Based on the strong positive reviews, I bought this microphone to use when attending singing groups and meetings via Zoom. I was attracted by the fact that the product is optimized for use in podcast recording. I am very happy with this microphone. I like technology that is easy to use. This microphone plugs directly into my computer via a USB port. It has a standard jack that fits my Apple headphones and the headphones I use to listen to music. The only control on the microphone is the headphone volume. When I plugged it into the USB port, my computer switched from receiving a signal from the internal mic to receiving a signal from the new external mic. That was my setup process, hooray! I put it on the included mini tripod which is easy to use and stable. I've used it on three different vocal groups so far and people tell me that my sound quality is the clearest of the group. Being a condenser mic, it doesn't pick up a lot of background noise, and I don't have to be particularly careful about the orientation of my face in relation to the mic: it seems to pick me up anywhere when I'm looking at my laptop screen. Great microphone at a reasonable price.
