I don't think it's stainless steel. I think it's zinc die cast.
The product itself is well made. I don't think it's stainless steel though. It's too shiny for stainless steel. Also, it seems too light for stainless steel. can i be wrong Yes. However, I work with stainless steel quite a bit and weld it like other metals all the time. Something here"does not fit".
