Bought for novelty. The price is excellent compared to other sources for them I've seen and I received two as per the description. However, I was close to requesting a refund as at first it seemed like I had 2 non-working astronauts. The instructions say to rotate the visor until you hear a click and that is the power button. You have to say that turning the visor all the way back is imperative as the slightly uneven lip where the two sides meet makes a noticeable click on either side but is still halfway from the actual shift point . The same protrusion makes flipping the sight over the lantern a bit difficult. But since you can turn them off by simply turning off the power, it doesn't matter. The "leash" is a strong metal, quite flexible but rigid enough to hold the position. They are a bit heavy, I would be wary of giving them to younger children as port damage from careless handling can be a problem. I don't rely on them to solve the problem of world hunger and they are for the elderly so small problems are not a problem.
