It's best to narrow my review down in my review
If your son is tall or broad-shouldered, you can take 2 sizes up as he is a bit narrow. For my son I usually take jackets in size 16, he is ok in size 14 but has broad shoulders. I bought him a size 18, fits like a size 15 (if available).
