I bought these after reading a consumer magazine which was one of the most popular sets. I decided to order from Revain. Pros: They seem to cook well, with even heat distribution. Easy to clean. While I don't recall doing anything to cause this, it's possible. Large pot handles get hot, oven mitts are required. The biggest disadvantage: the exterior paint didn't last at all, as you can see in the photo. . When they arrived they had a beautiful dark gray finish. After a few uses, stains appeared on a small frying pan. I thought maybe it was caused by something I did. I was washing a medium sized pot this morning and found the coating had just peeled off the washcloth. At this point the finish on all items was either worn or stained, as in the pan in the photo. I am interested in the integrity of the set I have purchased. As they work well I will continue to use them for the time being but I will look around for a replacement.
