Review on Motorad 🔒 MGC-839 Fuel Tank Cap by Aaron Wood

Driving back from my friend's house, my Ford Focus ('05) jumped on "check the tank cap". I didn't even know I had one, but at the end of a 20-mile ride, that's exactly what I did - I checked the lid. The rubber washer on my old gas cap had a deep crack that must have let air through. and turned on the light, so I was officially in the market for a new gas cap. This is where the MGC-839 gas cap comes into play. PRICE: I wanted a lid, not a high price! Before purchasing this cap from Revain, I compared the prices of regular and locking gas caps at dealerships around town (including Autozone and collar O'Reilly Auto Parts). Regular cap prices range from $12.99 to $14.99 while lockable caps range from $15.99 to $17.99. In particular, I was looking for a sub-$10 cap that would not come back on when my gas cap check light came on, and this cap met my needs. At the time of writing this review, the MGC-839 was $9.95, the same price I paid for it and saves almost 25% at local stores. You are guaranteed to save money and feel good by purchasing this hat. i should know I checked :) PRODUCT: The lid is stronger than my old lid (which was a blocking device) and is a solid weight. The plastic disk inside is firmly mounted and came without cracks. It was sealed! My device was packaged in a small square box that will appeal to those who like to care about the environment and minimalist design. No additional packaging is lost here. INSTALLATION: Installation was very easy as is the case with most caps. I simply inserted the cap and then turned it to the right until I heard a click signaling it was tight and in place. MY FINAL THOUGHTS: Durable, inexpensive, top notch delivery and easy to assemble. I would recommend this device to anyone looking for a good gas cap at a reasonable price. Also, I had the MGC-839 installed for about a month and my "Check Gas Cap" light stopped coming on. Take it easy! The new lid works as it should and has helped put my mind at ease. And I hope this will do the same for you.
