I bought this for my couch, love seat, and 2 chairs to protect against my boyfriend's cat, who frequently scratches and pees on couches. These slipcovers seem more useful against dogs or less terrible cats. If only I could keep the slipcovers and get rid of the cat (apparently not an option >:-$ grr). Also, customer service is excellent!Pros: the teal and grey slipcovers are really pretty and look great with my furniture/decore. The colors matched the pictures quite well, though the reverse-side beige looks slightly yellowish in natural light (matches the color in the pictures under artificial light). The material is very soft, much softer than my couches. It fits my 84" couch with room for additional adjustment, and stays in place reasonably well.Cons: They don't cover areas the cat wants to sharpen his claws on (as the pictures clearly show, this one's on me). These are definitely water resistant, not waterproof. The cat already peed on one chair and it went through to my chair fabric :-(. I had to resort to putting aluminum foil on all my furniture and Scotchguard on the slipcovers just in case. Seriously, this cat!If you're buying these for protection against devil cats, these might not cut it. If you want to keep your furniture clean of dirt and fur via a removable and easily washable slipcover, these might be for you.
