The grip is good and it's nice to have it on both sides of the sock and not just one side like most other socks. Now for the cons. since his feet are quite small. When I tried them on him, I found that his feet were even smaller than I thought, so I wasn't the right size for the best fit. However, this is an error on my part as the socks themselves were as described and I did not take into account how small my dog is when choosing the size. For my dog, I will most likely need something very small or smaller. but the socks I ordered will work for now. Having said that, I would recommend them to anyone who has a dog with poor traction on wood or tile floors as they work well. The velcro keeps the socks in place and they also allow for some stretch if your dog is between sizes.
