First of all I'm a big fan of Westone. I have had them in the past and was very happy to receive them. Now I'm the bassist and you just don't get that with them. I returned them and bought a Shure SE846. Included in testing all kinds of music. Bass: Inefficient and too clean. Even if the equalizer is turned on very high settings. Mids: Fantastic response and clarity. Treble: This is where they probably shine the most. quite warm but again clean. I think my tastes are pretty specific when it comes to bass and the full feel of the music with the dynamism that the deep bass gives it. These Pro50 are not the same. Which, when I did my homework, was mixed in other reviews. If folks have any suggestions: Tried a few tips and revisited based on my previous experience with Westone, knowing what to expect from a seizure, etc. Westone, if you have something in your range that takes the Shures SE846 from the Water will be cleared away regarding (deep) bass I'll spend the money! Hope this helps Walter.
