The dress is fitted to the chest and arms. If I ordered a size up, the bottom would be too big. I can generally carry small-medium. So I ordered a medium size. Note: I'm wearing a bustier so the dress is probably tight at the top, but the sleeves are also tight. If it fits like it's supposed to, it's a pretty dress.
