After accumulating over 450 CDs and over 200 DVDs, my wife and I decided to organize them once and for all. Looking back at the various options, this product made the most sense. I folded the CD/DVD cases and papers into sandwich bags labeled with the same designation as the CD case, handed over the diamond boxes and placed the CDs in this organizer. Man, it's always convenient. The case is really good quality, the selector works as advertised and is built like a tank. The key to use is organization. Instead of using an online program provided by the company, which is fine, I used a spreadsheet. It just took a bit of experimentation to find the right print size. I can then search my spreadsheet software to find where a specific drive is in the collection. Once this is set up, each volume container becomes another leaf in the file. Using this system creates another limitation: listing the disks in the correct order is difficult, to say the least. We were all determined to keep each CD in alphabetical order. Well, that leads to the problem of inserting new CDs. You must also leave room in each disc organizer to insert new discs. The logistics soon became overwhelming. Eventually we gave up and just put the discs we bought in and wrote the title into the database. When we have one ready, we print out the list. We then carry out the search as described above. It seems to be the least of the problems overall. I highly recommend this product. We have already bought 12 and will likely be buying more soon. Best Regards, John Price
