For the white dualsense 1 version, same evaluation stands. The store-bought controller I picked up now serves as a spare for when company drops by. I've used the gamepad for the past two years alongside the console itself, and I've only decided to clean it off now that the left stick drifts. At the same time, I was able to play with relative calm and precision (luckily, fighting games and FIFAs are not my thing). This, it seems to me, is the generation's defining feature; I own an Xbox and I despise the gamepad in every way (from the way it lands in my hand to the terrible vibration it causes when I press buttons). When I used dualsense, I always felt high, and I would squeal like a little kid in the astros playroom. While few have come close in the past two years, many PS5 titles already offer fascinating additions for dualsense. As for the PC, I can't comment; all I did was hook up a couple of games to the MacBook to play Apple Arcade, and everything went swimmingly. I plan on using dualsense edge as my primary controller for the system.
