Bought this for my 6 year old daughter to hang her clothes in her room. We've had it for a little over a week now and it's leaning forward and looks like it's about to break. Unless you're hanging very light shirts and sundresses I wouldn't recommend this. If it's in a room where your kids are playing, it doesn't take a big hit before it breaks. It's attached with three screws on either side of the base that hold the bracket and compress the tubes. Moving the weight at the top (imagine a 6 year old hanging and hanging clothes) will cause it to wobble and eventually bend. The tube is about 1/2 inch in diameter and very thin. Despite the ease of assembly, it is not very durable. I would not recommend that.
