It took a bit of confusion to figure out how this all worked. After I threw away the instructions, everything went smoothly. They do what they say and look pretty powerful. If, as one reviewer noted, they "detach from the wall," that's not a problem with the mounts. You either missed a bolt or used the wrong type of drywall fastener. I would recommend her to a friend. Edit: They've been installed for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with the results. I use them with Polk RM6600 satellites and they work very well. However, I definitely wouldn't rely on mounting a center channel speaker on these brackets. I checked the Polk website and unfortunately it doesn't list the weight of each speaker. But you can look there to get an idea of the size of the speakers I mount.
