Review on 🔝 High-performance OMNIFilter CB6 SS2 S06 Cartridge: Ideal for Heavy-Duty Use by Delbert Potter

Fits BF7 Omnifilter housing. I walked well 55,000 gallons through the first one I had before noticing a drop in water pressure. I had an issue with the smell of dirt and rust from city pipes ruining clothes in the washing machine before I bought this filter and have had no issues since. When changing the filter, some nasty stuff floats on the dirty side of the filter so it seems like it's doing its job of filtering. I've found that when opening the case, holding the pressure release button down while unscrewing the case helps a lot. One word of advice, if you are installing a whole house filter, install a filter bypass with shut-off valves so that if there is a problem with the filter or housing you don't run out of water and start looking for a replacement. Used filter choices released after only 26,000 gallons. I used a hose to remove the baked on brown stuff, didn't try to reuse the filter to see if it would restore the lost water pressure. My only complaint about these filters is the price!
