When I tried Suavecito for the first time, I was very disappointed. It was too thick, hard as a gel, and the smell, while pleasant, was too strong. I ended up giving it to a friend who preferred to use gel hair products and he was happy with it. Since I recently cut my hair a little shorter, I decided to give her a second chance in the hope that tragedy would strike me. It was definitely a bad batch. It has the perfect consistency and spreads evenly. It dries like a lipstick and gives you enough flexibility to brush through when needed. The hold is perfect for my thick and heavy hair. I usually use stronger hold products, but with this original formula I don't have to try a stronger hold product, it will be too strong. And the scent is definitely lighter, not as strong, and it complements any scent you're wearing or on its own. If you are looking for a good lipstick for your undercuts, men's hairstyles and pompadours that feels soft and smells amazing, Suavecito is your perfect lipstick.
