I assume almost everyone reading this knows why they are buying this one, but I will share my experience with office chairs anyway. For those who might not know, office chairs don't last forever. You can buy this to change the look of your chair but honestly it should increase its durability. I've bought relatively expensive office chairs (along with cheap ones of course) and even the most expensive ergonomic chairs are starting to break and tear. It's only a matter of time before a small hole in your chair rips it open. I believe the idea behind this is to prevent this from happening sooner rather than later. Or you would like a different colored seat for your chair. Feeling of a "clean" chair seat. Alternatively, you can soak the chair in detergents, but that seems like the best solution to me. I disinfect hard surfaces like legs and armrests separately. There are straps you can tie together to hold the fabric on the chair but to be honest it may not work for every chair as you tie it around the entire seat and also expect it to fit larger office chairs fits (which may not be the case). . . I have a feeling that most office chairs are standard enough that they're more of a match for your chair.
