Review on Mechanical Keyboard Gaming Keycaps Computer Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Shane Mack

No compensatory qualities

I have a mechanical keyboard without a number pad in my home office and I wanted one with a number pad. Instead of paying extra money for a keyboard from a well-known manufacturer, I went for this one. My grumpy reflex overwhelmed me again. I had to spend extra money because this keyboard is not worth your time or money. Functionality The design of this keyboard, as stated in the description, aims to maximize the use of features in a small space. I'd have to maximize my tolerance for stupidity to minimize frustration with this thing. If you really need an explanation of what I mean, please enlarge the image in the product description. The numeric keypad uses all the good keys like Home/Delete/PgUp/PgDown and the NumLock key is Fn+Backspace. There's no alternative other than a separate keymapper on your computer, but at this point you're just feeding the beast. Also, I couldn't get NumLock to work, which left me without the precious Delete key. Goodbye immediately. Design I mentioned the performance hits, but it's also worth noting that the buttons and tapping on the buttons are rubbish. I like the color scheme (Go Flyers) but the key IDs are drawn with a lousy template that requires characters with continuous negative space in the path. It's like the difference between a laser printer and the paper template you would use to make a "FREE" sign when throwing trash in your neighbor's driveway. If you look at the photo attached to this review, pay attention to the letters "P", "B", "0" and other symbols. They look weird because a fool thought they looked okay and sent them. I'm not angry. I realized that this waste of my time is not worth the extra money for a genuine product. I'll order something now, the guy from UPS will come tomorrow to pick it up.
