You may want to know that they may not fit all vents: older cars may have tighter ventilation. Also keep in mind that when the air conditioner is on, the back of the phone can be cooled. Conversely, if you use a heater, it can actually heat up the back of the phone, which might not be a good thing. The magnet works fine. Eventually the mount may slip out, but it's easy to reattach. For us, the spaces that the vents provide work really well. We have two cars. We use this one in a new car and another one on an old truck. This is actually one of the most expensive, and while it may seem better than the very cheap one, both do the same thing and with the same results. It works well, which is why we give it five stars.
