After Microsoft disrupted my Surface Pro 3's ability to connect to my font (which works 100% with another Surface Pro 7 BTW) with a Windows security update that I can't uninstall if I didn't want to flash my bios (Thanks MS! You're a terrible company!) and didn't even admit it, I was SOL. I didn't have the money to upgrade and found that all MS had to offer was to give me a $500 refurbished unit. worked via bluetooth! That is amazing. It's a little stiffer than my original cover, which is good because it's a bit more supportive. The buttons respond great. Connecting was easy, if a bit cryptic. There are only a few instructions for this and not all functions are described in the supplied "instructions". The keys are a bit louder than my old cover, but I think they are on par with the new covers (my cover was bought in 2014). Battery life seems good although I haven't fully charged it yet. In general, as a replacement I recommend! Very good product and good price to boot.
