I was very excited about this product. It gives you a firm bed and fits my 1st gen well. Unfortunately I only managed to use it twice and each time it failed in new and unexpected ways. The first time I used it was on a long hike. The second night I couldn't hold my breath. Somehow it got a small leak under the hood and above the wheel arch in the crease. I don't think he even made contact there and I swept the bed before using it. Not a big dial, I used the patch kit that came with it and fixed it. The next time I used it just last week. I went on another long hike. This time the mattress began to grow on the same side as the puncture until the wheel arch opening was fully inflated and began to stand up. (see photo) I have no idea how to fix this now and of course the warranty has just expired. I think I'll keep it for road trips and use the big side for the bottom of the floor. It is too expensive. for durability. Got a half price large Agnes sleeping pad that fits my 72 inch bed. It's almost 30 inches wide, which allows me to stow the rest of my gear in bed and sleep under windows. It can also be left in the truck on hot days, which the airbedz mattress instructions do not recommend doing. I will definitely tell my friends not to buy Airbedz products.
