Not suitable for 3 inch cutout.
Bought to replace an old 3" socket and it doesn't fit a 3" hole. I measured and it is actually 3 1/16 inches in diameter. Really annoying having to enlarge the hole in the worktop - nice design but really? There is nothing better than accurate measurements.
