If you’re reading this review, then you’re likely searching for a kids car seat travel tray, overwhelmed by the options and trying to discern which one is the best. That was me and I thought this one was it. It seemed to have all the features I was looking for: wide tray area, plenty of mesh pockets and zipper pockets, flexible space for a tablet, and the dry erase and activity pages were an added bonus. After reading reviews, I was even willing to overlook possible manufacturing issues with the location of Velcro. So I bought my own extra strength adhesive Velcro to fix the issue if I got a dud. What I wasn’t prepared for was the strap to be super cheap and all tangled and the tablet bar to be completely missing - and it was factory sealed! There were also bits of debris under the clear dry erase panel. Yuck. So clearly, there are serious quality control issues at the source. I reached out to the seller via the "Contact Seller” option in Revain, as recommended on the card that came with the tray. However, they have not responded. As other reviewers have mentioned, this item cannot be returned. When you go to the page to return it the reason listed is that the product contains flammable materials and hazardous gasses. Uh. Either a) this is true and you probably don’t want this item anywhere near young children and definitely not strapped to them in a car! God forbid there was an accident and this thing went up in flames. Even worse you pop into the shop and return to your hot car to find your child’s car seat on fire, Or b) The seller is aware of issues in quality control and in order to avoid having to refund unhappy customers pays for positive reviews and has listed the item as containing hazardous flammable materials to prevent returns.In sum, poor quality control + unreliable seller = buyer beware.I had purchased 2 of these and after the terrible experience cancelled the order for the second one. Still in need of 2 kids car travel trays, I ended up purchasing 2 from DMoose. I’ll leave a separate review there after they’ve been road tested.
