I wasn't sure what to do with all those facial hair products so I ended up with this That Got This Amish Get Beard Wax along with the Amish Beard Balm. Wax is essentially the next level of hold over beard balm. I don't have a crazy big beard so I could probably do without it, but it helps a lot in keeping my hair tidy. Sometimes a balm doesn't have enough hold, so you need a wax for extra help. I chose it for its simple ingredients and simple presentation. If you have shorter facial hair, an inch or less, then you probably don't need this wax and you can use a balm. If you have slightly longer, really crazy hair or want a cool facial hairstyle then definitely consider a can. This will take a decent amount of time and help keep everything in order. The wax comes in a palm-sized can. Wax hardens at lower temperatures so I just scrape it off with the back of my nail, rub between my fingers and apply.
