These are very useful in blousing your pants above the boots. They can be used to attach things to your web belt, too. The smooth, (polished?) metal hooks and elastic will give years of service.

- Never liked using this type ,I've always prefer the wide strap type.These worked in a pinch .
Cons
- If the elastic bands are too tight, they may cut off circulation, which can be dangerous
