If you want to attach this timer to your fridge, this simple modification allows it to sit flat on a metal surface without moving. Use a screwdriver to pry the magnet off the back of the clip. Then remove the plastic clip from the timer, break it or push the pin out with an awl. Using double-sided mounting tape or glue, attach the magnet to the back near the top. Now it no longer swings back and forth when you press the buttons on the timer. With a magnet on the top and a battery compartment on the bottom, it is very stable. It's much better than before.
