Although some of my jeans were new and fitted, I noticed that some of them were ripped near the zipper. I tried sewing them but it was almost impossible because the stitching just came undone or just didn't work. I bought these hoping they would work because I have ripped jeans of different colors. Not only does this set go well with my brightly colored jeans, it works! So first I made sure the patch was about an inch larger than the tear all the way around. After measuring and cutting, I ironed the patch onto the jeans. What I like is that with all of this, not only do you not realize there's a tear, but I also don't have to sew them up. Since then I have worn and washed each pair of jeans several times. No matter how many times they've been washed, the patch is still on my jeans. No increase at the edges either. They are so easy to use and with the amount you get in this pack I have some left over in case one of my other guys decides to rip me off.
