The pen works like a ballpoint pen
So note that the pen is different from the pen/brush - I personally prefer the pen/brush but this pen worked well - first use was the best, after that It didn't feel that strong but you can dampen the pen with some water and try to refresh it - the company really helped with tips to make it work best! Also, the pin was gold and not rose gold, which didn't bother me, but it might matter to someone else.
