Hello, I bought this item to prevent stretch marks. I started applying it all over my body every night after showering before bed. I just started my second trimester and haven't been able to use it for over a month! The smell was so intense that just the thought of rubbing it into my body made me nauseous. Unfortunately I haven't been able to use this extensively to see if the product is effective. However, I am a licensed esthetician and have chosen this oil from a variety of different ones because it is organic and natural and contains everything you could possibly want. From the ingredients alone I had high hopes that it would help produce elastin and the right vitamins for penetration and hydration. However, it was bold and occlusive. I've just switched to organic oil although I didn't want to use a mineral oil base but it makes a huge difference, my skin feels moisturized from within without being greasy and it lasts all day. with a pleasant smell. Overall this is a great product, it just didn't work for me.
