Review on Laird Technologies Brass Mt Cable by Justin Webb

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The braided line is so thin that it can be easily cut.

The middle of the coaxial cable is not copper, but some kind of shiny metal like a braid. Unfortunately I bought two, I will not install the second one. I cut the coax three times and try to get enough solder so I can solder it. Garbage. The protruding tabs for hooking into the body are very small. If you drill a 3/4 hole, it's too big and you can't use it because it has nothing to bite on. The hole will be too big, so make sure you use the right size drill bit and be careful. stable and accurate, do not lengthen the hole at all, and measure the bit before use. Some of the cheaper bits claim to be 1/2 inch but they are actually 13 or 14 millimeters which would be nice and tight or sloppy depending on what it is. This device has no instructions and I would not buy it again. or recommend it to someone.

Pros
  • Cable type: RG58A/U
Cons
  • There are nuances
