Several people have written that large toothbrushes do not fit. This is easy to fix. Simply remove the rubber brush holder from the tray and your large toothbrush will fit perfectly. Most toothbrushes these days are the larger types with all sorts of bristle "features". Who knew we needed bristles in so many shapes, sizes and colors? The pictures show: a toothbrush with a rubber holder and it doesn't fit, a picture of the rubber holder, removing the rubber holder and putting the brush in the box. The product itself briefly emits ultraviolet light aimed directly at the bristles. I've only had it a few days so I can't comment on the longevity of the bulb. Make sure you rinse and handle the brush well, shake off the water and put it in the case. If you don't do this, the dried toothpaste will build up in the case, which is just awful. There is no function problem. Just awful folks. *UPDATE 6/2018* I deducted a star due to the durability of this product. One of the two I bought stopped working about a month ago. So - it took 6-7 months. Not bad, but not great either.
