If you want a bikini cut body shaper with a high waist, and want to avoid the type of shaper that has built-in thigh slimmers or the "slot", this is the shaper for you. This is really more of a body smoothing device rather than a corset-type device. I'm fat and long waisted, but the 3XL went up perfectly to around below my ribcage. It isn't super thick. If you have problems getting it on, make sure you know how to wear shapewear!
