This board works well in my computer office sound system. I'm asking a lot and the card works very well in that regard. As usual with Creative, there are plenty of bells and whistles that are useless for those interested in playing music files accurately. These effects cost you computer overhead and potential future problems, although I didn't have any. As a result of these"effects". The interface with the card is much more complicated than necessary. The "effect" of these "effects" cannot be edited in the programming interface, but it does not actually have to be used either. Now they are there like extra baggage. I wish there was a way to just tell the card when you install it that you don't need those extra things and the interface will install without them. He's just busy for no reason. But in the end this is a good sound card and worth the money!
