I am very happy with this cutting mat! This rug is far superior to the thinner rugs I've bought from Joanna, it looks a lot more professional. I've been using it for a week now and it's holding up my rotary cutting much better than the old ones. It also heals much faster - when I cut too hard in one pass and made a deep cut I kicked myself, sure I screwed up. Six hours later I can't tell where he was except for a small mark on the surface. The lines are blurred and some have lived with use, but not to the point of being unreadable - and they haven't moved, just some diagonals. marked that weren't there before. :) I really appreciate the lack of outgassing that comes with this rug. Some of my old professional carpets smelled when cut, this carpet doesn't have that problem. Yesterday was one of the first major potential disasters - I spilled a bottle of high strength fabric glue on the mat! I quickly wiped it off with a rag and was shocked to find there were no marks left on it. My old carpet has a few spots where the adhesive sticks, but when you pull it off quickly, nothing sticks. I look forward to ordering a few smaller sizes to replace all the mats. in my sewing room - haven't checked if they have any additional accessories like a swivel version or a smaller travel version but I will!
