This is a great idea in concept but not in theory because it doesn't do your jeans the same way holding a belt will do. You basically attach it to the belt loops and tighten it so your pants are as tight as you want them to be. But the thing is, when you attach it to the belt loops, it pulls on the loops, and I could see that if I wore it every day, my belt loops would probably snap, resulting in a hole in my jeans (somewhat , which I've seen before without applying that kind of extra pressure). I decided to buy this because I hate the bulge of the belt, but if you have that thing that looks like suspenders (even if you're trying to put on a long shirt and then it shows when you sit down) , it just looks weird - At least belts are an acceptable/famous accessory, this show just looks like an odd addition. I wouldn't mind if it pops up every now and then if it's holding both my pants and straps, but since it's all about the back it can't. If your pants don't have 3 belt loops in the back, they won't work well either because they're asymmetrical (something you might be able to see when you buy them). Finally, there is a bulge at the belt.
