I had to remove the plastic wire guard from my mirror to adjust the diameter. They twisted it as tight as they could. I have a finger ring on my silicone phone case so I have to remove the case to fit this holder. From there it becomes a bit flexible. I stopped and re-tightened this device with great disappointment. Maybe I'll switch to a different model soon.
