Unless you have a bike with traditional frame tubes, this is a very well built stand. I used it on a new mountain bike with a curved top tube and big down tube like a lot of new mountain bikes these days. The clamp is too small for the large down tube. So I clamped it to the seatpost with a parking stand like a few years ago, but the clamp flexed over an inch when clamped with the bike in the horizontal position. Since it is plastic, it will likely break when handling the bike. So I adjusted the clamp to the curved top tube. That being said, I was very happy with the performance and durability of the rest of the stand. Great stand if the clip fits your frame.
