I have replaced all of my irrigation fittings with PVC/brass instead of the cheap plastic fittings that most lawn care professionals use. I have tried many valves and these have proven to be the best for my application. I combine a brass adapter, brass elbow, this valve, and a push-fit connector to change from 1/2" PVC line to 1/4" irrigation line, which I then connect to a deep root irrigation post at each source. Irrigation manifolds last about 2 years at AZ heat before they break/leak and need replacing, or kids or landscapers or I step on them and break them right away. These will not break.
