I got this to hold my note 4 in my rubber jacket and it has worked fine for about 6 months and the key stitch is just starting to fail. I was expecting more wear and tear. Note that I've always used it with the strap that goes through both the strap loops and the spring clip in the middle (not that heavy in practice) and it's held up really well. Using a spring clip also prevents the pouch from falling off the belt when not attached. Although the magnetic clasp doesn't appear to be that strong, I had no problems with the phone escaping. Do not choose this case if you intend to carry your phone naked as it is too roomy and not particularly protective. It's about having the right expectations. I don't think paying more would get better usability, and for that price I'm willing to buy a few spares.
