Was there a demand for strongly scented sponges? I think most people are only interested in the sponge's effectiveness in cleaning etc. Why did this company decide to create a sponge with a strong scent that permeates the air? (And the smell isn't even that good, for those who want a little sponge that fills the whole room with that scent.) The smell is so strong, I promise it will fill the whole room. . I hated it! I'm sensitive to heavily perfumed things, which I avoid. I knew this sponge mentioned that it had an odor, but I figured it might just be a faint odor that I could smell if I held it up to my nose. Oh no, not at all. The scent is so strong that it envelops the whole room. Such a small sponge makes me shake my head and ask why? If I wanted my room to be filled with a fragrant scent, I would buy an air freshener or something similar that was specifically designed for that. When I bought this sponge I just wanted an effective scrubber! But the smell of the perfume was too strong for me, so I had to throw it away. At $6.95 there was no point in returning it to Revain. Since they weren't defective, I had to pay for return shipping.
