This set is perfect for the casual table tennis fan. I took it to my parents' house for Christmas, and we kids had a great time playing each other. It sets up really easily--it clamps onto any table up to about 2-inches thick. The only real drawback is that there's no way to adjust the tension on the net. I was never able to get it taut. Not a problem for us, but a serious ping pong player would probably be bothered by it. Also, while I think the paddles are quite nice (and much better than the old ones we used to play with), a family member who's more serious about ping pong thought they were a bit too lightweight. The set comes with three balls and two paddles in addition to the net, making a great set to take along to game nights and parties.
