Review on Ciays Auto Close Doorways Installation CISG09W by Debbie Wells

I ordered this security gate to fence off part of my home from my new puppy. I originally had one of those plastic baby gates that was difficult to use. My 10 year old had a hard time opening and closing the clip to take it off to get through because it was too big to step over. I decided to look for a passor because I really like being able to block parts of the house from dogs from time to time. When ordering this security gate it was originally supposed to be delivered within 2 days of ordering (Prime and all) but apparently got lost or something because it ended up taking almost a week to arrive - and that's normal though I really wanted it . After receiving the gate I inspected it to make sure all the details were there - they were. The instructions were easy to find, read and follow. However, I was annoyed by the fact that they don't mention that the "bolts" they want you to put in on the 4 corners don't actually dangle and snap into place until you determine the size you need and not adjust the back. screw to the wall. Installation was easy, except I installed it crookedly on the first try - user error haha. On my second try I asked my friend to set it up so it was level - he did it perfectly. So for those who know what they are doing with things this will be easy for you I hope! : ) After the gate is installed, it is securely fixed and does not move. The button to open the gate is easy to press and my 10 year old can operate it with ease. The gate swings both ways haha which is great when you're carrying something. To open the gate you have to press the button and then pull it gently to slide it over the piece that holds it in place when not in use (it's very simple). The gate closes easily. I am very happy with these gates and plan to order more. My only other suggestion would be to make this gate larger - I have a 4ft doorway that this would be perfect for, but unfortunately this gate is too small and I had to order a different brand. I would happily go with this brand if it was broad enough to meet my needs.
